In cooperation with the Newport Beach Restaurant Association, SocialSkoop crafted an online marketing strategy to promote the participating restaurants of Newport Beach. This strategy primarily involved blogger outreach, viral videos, and a social media campaign and cross-promotion. First part, was reaching out to local Orange County food bloggers and conducting video interviews. In total I created 11 promotional viral videos, 9 of which were interviews with local chefs, foodies and even the Mayor of Newport Beach, Michael Henn. Then while we released the videos in the days leading up the event, we also ran a cross-promotion with Spa Gregorie’s of Newport Beach in which (15) $100 gift cards were given out to fans who competed a Facebook Contest that we ran.
